This is on local NBA games too. They all try to give their report like they are trying out for Broadway play. It's hard to describe. I can picture them all in grade school doing the part of Annie in a school play. The precocious 10 year old. Look at me. I just can't stand when I'm watching the game and they stop the play-by-play for Kristen Ledlow to read verbatim long quotes from coaches and players. Do all that stuff on the pre-game or halftime report. I'm trying to concentrate on the game and then you hear this voice in lilting tones saying so and so told his teammates they have to play better defense. Here is what I want from a sideline reporter. If a player goes out of the game for injury in basketball or football just tell me what the injury is and if they will be returning to the game.
